The PADI Master Scuba Diver™ programme recognises divers who have achieved a high level of recreational diving training, experience, and commitment within the PADI system.
Master Scuba Diver™ is the highest non-professional recreational diver rating offered by PADI and represents the following:
- extensive diving experience,
- advanced continuing education,
- and strong overall diving capability.
To achieve the rating, divers must complete:
- PADI Open Water Diver,
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver,
- PADI Rescue Diver,
- five PADI Speciality Diver certifications,
- and log a minimum of 50 dives.
